League Dates:

The league starts Sunday, July 9th and runs through the end of August, including playoff and rainout dates.

Locations and Times:

Our Summer Brooklyn Men’s Sunday League takes place at Prospect Park. The fields are located on the west side of the park, with the closest park entrances located on Prospect Park West and 9th, 11th, or 15th street. Game times range from 3 pm – 8:30 pm, late start times vary throughout the season depending on available daylight.

Teams may need to play at least one game (or one double header if prefered or due to schedule logistics) at East River Park, located at Grand St. and the FDR in Manhattan. Late August games could also take place at East River park if rain is an issue on multiple weekends during the season. East River Park games are available all day, 9 am to 8 pm.

Basic Rules:

• Ten players in the field
• All players in the field must bat and all batters must play at least one inning in the field
• Underhand slow pitch
• Pitching is four to ten foot arch and a strike must cross between front shoulder and back knee
• No quick pitch, high arch, or flat pitching
• Six inning games
