League Dates:
Teams can select their preferred start date during signup. Teams signing up now could start the season as early as Saturday, September 13th. The season runs through October 11th including playoffs and rainout dates. In the event of multiple rainout dates the season could push back into late October or November.
Free agent player start date is subject to change based on what team you are assigned to and when rosters are completed. Free agent players could start the season as late as September 13th, but will be scheduled for a full season regardless of start date.
Locations and Times:
Games take place Saturdays in Central Park, both Heckscher Field and Great Lawn.
Start times range 9 am to 6 pm. Teams can select their preferred time range during sign up. Start time availability depends on finalized permit space. We will do our best to get as many games as a possible within your requested time range, but requests are not guaranteed.
October and later games could take place at Randall’s Island, Morningside Park, or East River Park, this includes playoffs and games rescheduled due to rainouts.
Basic Rules:
- Ten players in the field
- You must have three women in your lineup and and in the field
- Must have one woman bat in your top four batters
- Less than three women is an automatic out for each missing women in the batting order
- Women missing in the field can not be replaced by men
- All players at the field must bat and all batters must play at least one inning in the field
- Underhand slow pitch
- Pitching is four to ten foot arch and a strike must cross between front shoulder and back knee
- No quick pitch, high arch, or flat pitching
- Six inning games

Free Agent Notes:
If you are signing up with a friend or small group of players you’ll be able to include that information during sign up to ensure you are all placed on the same roster.
