League Dates:
Teams signing up now must start the week of September 29th. The league runs through Wednesday, November 19th, including playoff and rainout dates.
Free agent player start date is subject to change based on what team you are assigned to and when rosters are completed. Free agent players may start as late as the week of September 15th or 22nd, but will play a full 8 game season regardless of start date.
Locations and Times:
The majority of the league will take place at Randall’s Island. September and early October games are available at Central Park and Riverside Park. August games are available at several Manhattan locations including DeWitt Clinton, East River Park, Riverside Park, Central Park, and Harlem River Park.
Games are available Monday – Thursday. Start times for the league range from 6 pm to 10 pm. September games at Manhattan locations are only available for 6:15/6 pm start times.
We will take preferences on days, times, and locations and will do our best to make sure as many games as possible are scheduled on your preferred day, field, and time. However, requests can’t be guaranteed for all games and teams should be prepared to field a team at all listed locations, days, and times.
Field locations are subject to change. New locations may be added prior to or during the season.
Basic Rules:
- Ten players in the field
- All players in the field must bat and all batters must play at least one inning in the field
- Underhand slow pitch
- Pitching is four to ten foot arch and a strike must cross between front shoulder and back knee
- No quick pitch, high arch, or flat pitching
- Six inning games

If you are signing up with a friend or small group of players you’ll be able to include that information during sign up to ensure you are all placed on the same roster.
